From specialist publisher to Communications Group

The Vogel Communications Group (VCG) is further expanding its involvement in the cutting-edge field of humanoid robotics and will serve as the exclusive media partner for the “Advanced Humanoid Forum 2027.” Together with organizer ULMO Consulting, the group is creating one of the first high-reach B2B platforms in the German-speaking world that consistently addresses humanoid robotics from an industrial perspective. The partnership combines specialized media expertise, industrial reach, and community building in a field that is currently making the transition from research and pilot projects to concrete industrial applications.

The Vogel Communications Group (VCG) has evolved from a specialized media company into a leading B2B communications partner. This transformation will require the group to increase its visibility in the market, with even greater clarity and reach. Communication is the strategic success factor that ensures and further accelerates the strong growth of the group, which comprises 15 companies. Effective July 1, Tim Bartl (45), previously Director of Strategic Projects & Brand Advocate at VCG, will assume responsibility for corporate communications as Chief Communications Officer (CCO). Dr. Gunther Schunk (59), previously Director of Public Relations at VCG, is handing over responsibility for the corporate group’s communications after approximately 20 years and will focus entirely on his board duties for the Vogel Stiftung Dr. Eckernkamp going forward.

Vogel Event Solutions (VES), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Vogel Communications Group (VCG), will launch another new trade show in 2027: CAR360, focusing on automotive glass, smart repair, car care, and car detailing, will take place on November 20, 2027, at the Vogel Convention Center in Würzburg. This is a joint initiative with the two associations, the Federal Association of Automotive Glass Installers (BVA) and the Federal Association of Dent Removal and Hail Repair (BVAT).
