Benjamin Wahler (28), previously Director Sales Executive and Deputy Chief Sales Officer, will take over the role of Chief Sales Officer (CSO) at Vogel Communications Group on July 1, 2019. CEO Matthias Bauer had held the role on an interim basis since June 2018.

Benjamin Wahler has been with the company since 2007. After training as a print and digital media specialist, he initially worked as a media consultant and then as a key account manager and sales manager in the laboratory, chemical, pharmaceutical and life science sectors. Since June 2018, Benjamin Wahler has been Deputy CSO and Director Sales Executive, supporting and driving forward the realignment of the sales unit as part of the "Vogel 2022" strategy. A central aspect: consistent customer focus, realized through the "One Face to the Customer" approach and the comprehensive portfolio of services with a combination of specialist media offerings and agency services.
