The "Industry Days" will take place for the first time on April 21/22, 2020. What makes it special: It is the first "virtual user-generated conference" for the industry. This purely virtual conference includes more than webinars, because the organizers place particular emphasis on exchange among participants and with experts across all sectors of the industry. New technologies such as IIOT (Industrial Internet of Things), 3D printing and 5G are changing the industry across all sectors. This makes international, industry-wide exchange of experience, networking and knowledge transfer all the more important for business success. But right now, with hundreds of canceled trade fairs and thousands of canceled events, the very platforms where such exchange usually takes place are disappearing.
This new "Industry Days" format supports focused information, thematic expert matching and cross-industry networking because it digitally reflects the spirit of an on-site event. In times of coronavirus, this is the best possible direct and very low-effort exchange.
The top-class program offers four half-day slots under the motto "Resilience", each lasting approx. 2 hours. Four established specialist media of the Vogel Communications Group will accompany and organize the program. The content has been submitted by companies. The presentations will be held in English.
- IOT: "The World of Industry 4.0" - Live interview with Prof. Birgit Vogel-Heuser.
- Construction: "Performance in Design Engineering"
- Keynote interview: Dr. Rainer Stetter, Managing Director of ITQ GmbH, on "Why mechanical engineering must go agile".
