Nina Krause (29), Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Vogel Convention Center GmbH (VCC), will take over the management of the state-of-the-art congress center of Vogel Communication Group GmbH & Co. KG (VCG) AS OF SEPTEMBER 1, 2020. The long-standing VCC Managing Director Horst Vollhardt will retire on August 31, 2020. Matthias Bauer and Günter Schürger will take over as Managing Directors. Both are Managing Directors of the VCG Group, of which VCC is a wholly owned subsidiary.
Horst Vollhardt worked for VOGEL for a total of 20 years, initially as Managing Director of the former Vogel Services GmbH from May 1, 2000. Since 2007, as Managing Director of the VCC, he was responsible for the conversion of the former printing halls into a congress center and its subsequent market launch.
Nina Krause started as an apprentice at the VCC in 2009 and worked as an event manager after completing her training. She completed further training as an event manager and worked as a VCC team leader from 2018. Krause has been responsible for the position of COO since January 1, 2020.
