On April 1, 2021, Wolfgang Thiel (41) will take over the newly created role in the specialist media division of Vogel Communications Group GmbH & Co. KG will take over the management of business events in the automotive and industry sectors. Thiel has been with the Group since March 1, 2020 and was previously responsible for the industry events of several media brands as Manager Event Business.
"The pandemic has probably presented the event business with its biggest challenge yet. We had to join forces, show great flexibility and passionate commitment to develop solutions at top speed in order to prevent the business from coming to a complete standstill," explains Wolfgang Thiel: "Now we need to set the course for a successful future as a team with the experience we have gained and a sustainable strategy."
