The Munich-based HR tech start-up Cobrainer has received 11 million euros in a current financing round, with a company valuation of over 100 million euros. The company intends to use this to drive forward its vision of a skills-based working world. Vogel Communications Group GmbH & Co. KG holds a stake of around 6% in Cobrainer via its subsidiary Vogel Ventures GmbH.
In future, the world of work will depend more than ever on the skills of its own employees - and on the development of these skills, i.e. talent development! To accelerate this process, the Munich-based HR startup Cobrainer has raised 11 million euros in growth financing. The HR tech startup intends to use the capital to scale its cross-industry, AI-based platform for skills, talent and career management across Europe. The Series A financing round was led by existing investors Linden Capital, Vogel Ventures, Michael Brehm and Wayra as well as Gregor Bieler, former General Manager at Microsoft Germany. At the same time, Cobrainer is expanding its management team to ensure successful expansion.
Matthias Bauer, CEO of Vogel Communications Group: "Cobrainer is an impressive example of how artificial intelligence can provide great added value for people and for the internal organization of companies in a very practical way. The HR software helps companies to identify all their skills and skill gaps for the first time, because personnel costs are a very important aspect for companies. With Cobrainer, costs and time can be saved in recruiting and talent development." Vogel Communications Group intends to communicate this important topic even more strongly in future via its specialist media in the industrial, automotive and IT sectors, as well as offering corresponding agency services.
"Cobrainer has created the world's largest skills database and its platform enables hundreds of thousands of skills transactions every day for well-known companies such as Telefónica Deutschland and Porsche. By focusing on skill and career transparency, enterprise customers save time and money by accelerating their internal recruiting fourfold. The platform also reduces recruiting costs for vacancies by an average of twenty to thirty thousand euros per new appointment, while employee satisfaction, loyalty to the employer and willingness for further training increase," says Cobrainer CEO Hanns-Bertin Aderhold.
