Web 2.0 lives on www.cynamite.de

cynamite.de, the interactive entertainment portal for computer and video games and DVD films from CyPress GmbH, a member of the Vogel Business Medien Group, went online at the end of August last year. After just a few months, the first extremely positive conclusions can be drawn.

Users make full use of the individual opportunities offered to them in their community to become active themselves. Over 3,200 clubs have been founded and 55,000 posts written in a short space of time. The opportunity to write their own articles and write tests on computer and video games and DVDs is also used very intensively. Around 1,000 magazines could be filled or published with the articles written. With currently 13,600 registered users, cynamite.de is on target. The much-cited Web 2.0 is fully implemented at cynamite.de. The editorial articles and videos are also closely linked to the community, which can comment on every article. Users have already submitted 1,500 such comments in the first few weeks.

With an extensive advertising campaign, cynamite.de will gain further recognition. The focus of this campaign is on TV spots on MTV, VIVA, Comedy Central, GIGA and RTL II. In addition, corresponding print ads will be placed in all CyPress properties and the relevant magazines of the Vogel Business Medien Group.
