Vogel IT-Medien, Augsburg, has launched its business efficiency portals on the topics of security, storage and networks. SearchSecurity.de, SearchStorage.de and SearchNetworking.de are the German-language versions of the web portals of the US publisher TechTarget. To this end, Vogel IT-Medien entered into a partnership with TechTarget in March of this year.
"With these new websites, we are rounding off our range of services on the German market. Our business efficiency portals optimally address the specific target group of IT decision-makers," said Werner Nieberle, Managing Director of Vogel IT-Medien. "Our readers receive in-depth specialist information from a narrowly defined subject area, a kind of beacon in the flood of information."
Advertising customers benefit from the lead generation model, which makes their advertising success measurable. Users register to access particularly high-quality content in the form of white papers or webcasts. Individual users can thus be assigned to specific areas of interest. With this information, advertising customers receive a benefit in the form of leads, i.e. stored, qualified customer contacts.
The new business efficiency portals are accompanied by the magazines "Information Security" and "Storage", which are based on TechTarget's successful titles. "The magazines are aimed directly at storage and security decision-makers in companies," said Georg Dörner, Publisher of TechTarget Germany at Vogel IT-Medien. Both magazines will be launched at the beginning of next year. With a circulation of 25,000 copies, they will be among the highest-circulation trade magazines in their respective fields.
