Frankfurt, September 15, 2005
Those who do not master service have little chance of survival in the automotive business. Only those who excel in high-quality customer contact will survive the massive structural change in the automotive industry in the long term. The Service Award 2005 jury selected two car dealerships from over 360 entries from all over Germany that are exemplary for the entire industry:
1st place in the passenger car category: Autohaus Newel, Cochem, Mercedes-Benz
1st place in the commercial vehicle category: Liebrecht Nutzfahrzeuge, Lemgo, Mercedes-Benz
As part of this year's IAA, the established "Service Award" was presented for the tenth time on September 15, 2005 in Frankfurt am Main amid great interest from the industry. The leading automotive trade journal "kfz-betrieb" Wochenjournal & Online and tire manufacturer Pirelli present the Service Award to automotive companies in Germany that offer excellent customer-oriented automotive services. Outstanding service and marketing performance, conceptual and innovative, both externally and internally - these are further important criteria in the selection of the best service providers.
The Service Award 2005 was presented in the categories commercial vehicles and passenger cars and is endowed with 3,000 euros each. Editor-in-chief of "kfz-betrieb" Wolfgang Michel and Peter J. Wagner, head of Pirelli's car dealership business, presented the winners with the trophy and a check with the prize money.
