Vogel Business Medien, Würzburg, announces that Alessandro de Bochdanovits (43) will become Managing Director of the home entertainment publisher CyPress as of May 16, 2005.
Alessandro de Bochdanovits initially completed a degree in business informatics in Munich as well as training as a wholesale and retail salesman. He has several years of experience in sales and marketing as well as management in the computer industry (Computer 2000 AG, Macotron AG/Ingram Micro GmbH). He then switched to the media industry, where he held management positions at Computer Verlag GmbH and IDG Business Verlag GmbH for six years. After project management and project management of ComputerPartner RETAILmagazin, he finally became Publishing Director of ComputerPartner. As Managing Director at CyPress, he succeeds Stefan Winners (37), who is moving to the Management Board of Tomorrow Focus AG.

The publishing house was founded in 1996 and offers five magazines with the corresponding websites. Its titles include PlayStation 2 - Das Offizielle Magazin, DVD VISION, DVD Aktuell, play the PLAYSTATION and Videogames aktuell. The company employs around 60 people in Höchberg near Würzburg and is expected to achieve a turnover of around € 13.5 million this year after € 12.4 million in the previous year (+ 9 %). Since November 19, 2004, "PC PowerPlay" has also been published as a monthly PC games magazine.
