On May 1, 2005, Thomas Röhl (41) joined the PROCESS editorial team at Vogel Industrie Medien, Würzburg, as a new editor.
Thomas Röhl is a qualified packaging engineer. After working as a scientist, he joined the editorial team of the magazine Neue Verpackung (Hüthig Verlag) from 1996 to 2000, where he was also editor-in-chief. His career then took him to PropackExpo GmbH, Karlsruhe, where he was editor-in-chief of the online marketplace for process and packaging technology. This was followed by two years as editorial manager at the agency Schott Relations GmbH, Stuttgart. From January 2004 until he joined Vogel, Thomas Röhl worked as a freelance consultant, mainly in the area of marketing/sales for ROX Asia Ltd, Hong Kong.
Commenting on his new position, he says: "I have always been enthusiastic about new technologies and new processes. And I have been following the PROCESS success story closely for over ten years. I am therefore all the more pleased to be working with the team on the ambitious goal of maintaining and further expanding PROCESS's market leadership."
