Thomas Reitstetter (36) took over the newly created position of Head of Strategic Corporate Development at Vogel Business Medien, Würzburg, on November 1.
Thomas Reitstetter worked for AOL Bertelsmann from 1994 to 1998. In addition to setting up the AOL online editorial department and various productions for the news agencies Reuters and dpa, his area of responsibility there also included the production of online appearances for TV TODAY, Bravo, VIVA and AOL NewsBote, for example. He created the first online news for RTL Television. From 1997 Reitstetter was Technical Director of AOL Bertelsmann UK in London.
Further stations in his career were the e-commerce practice at KPMG (London), several CIO and CTO positions, including at the World Market Research Centre (WMRC), London, as well as advisory activities with venture capital investors. Before joining VOGEL, Reitstetter worked at VISA Europe (London, San Francisco), where he was responsible for system architecture.
