If you want to sell your used car today, there is no getting around the numerous online exchanges. Mobile.de and Autoscout24 are among the best-known and most important players on the used car market. However, numerous other providers have now also established themselves with special offers. With interesting additional offers and services as well as target group-specific tools, they are trying to compete with the two top dogs. The industry magazine "kfz-betrieb" took a close look at a total of 16 of the most relevant Internet marketplaces in its latest issue no. 22/23, which will be published on June 8, 2006.
Conclusion of the large online industry overview: The offers are becoming increasingly sophisticated and offer both retailers and consumers an attractive price/performance ratio. There is also a trend towards combining online and print offers. In particular, the Axel Springer portal Autobild.de and Autoanzeigen.de, an association of around 50 regional newspaper publishers, rely on the symbiosis between virtual marketplace and printed advertisement in a newspaper.
