The leading specialist publishers for the manufacturing industry in Germany and the USA have agreed on an international cooperation. The Chinese subsidiary of the Würzburg-based specialist information provider, Vogel China Consulting, will publish Chinese editions of the market-leading US titles from Gardner Publications - "Modern Machine Shop", "Plastics Technology", "Moldmaking Technology" and "Automotive Design & Production". The new Chinese trade journals will be published for the first time in the second and third quarters of 2006.
With these new titles, Vogel will further expand its leading market position as a provider of specialist information in the People's Republic of China. Vogel currently publishes 10 titles in China, reaching 300,000 of the top decision-makers in Chinese industry. "MM MaschinenMarkt China", the flagship of Vogel Business Medien, has already been published in China for 11 years, with 38 issues this year. This title is supplemented by specialized websites and magazines, e.g. "Automobil Industrie" for automotive production, "Stone Report" for the stone, glass and clay sectors, or "Process" for the process industry.
The new titles from Gardner Publications will further complete the coverage of the various industry segments.
