The reach analysis figures just published by Arbeitsgemeinschaft Medien-Analyse e.V. confirm that PlayStation2 - Das offizielle Magazin has once again increased its reach. With a reach of 661,000 readers (MA I/2006), the flagship of entertainment publisher CyPress GmbH impressively demonstrated its market position. PlayStation2 - Das offizielle Magazin is particularly popular with German men, who account for around 75% of its reach with 498,000 readers.
The Arbeitsgemeinschaft Medien-Analyse e.V., a non-profit organization and umbrella association for all advertising media, publishes the current usage data for the media types TV, radio, newspapers/magazines, cinema, reading circles and Konpress every six months. The results of these continuous surveys of the adult population aged 14 and over are accepted as "advertising currency" by all companies in the industry.
"The MA results make it clear that we have taken the right path in both the conception and distribution of PlayStation2 - The Official Magazine," attests Winfried Burkard, Head of Advertising at CyPress GmbH. "Especially in comparison to lifestyle titles, the growing importance of our game magazine among the reading public is evident, as is its great advertising potential."
