The new year has got off to a good start for Vogel IT Media with the two new magazines it has launched from its TechTarget Germany division. "Information Security" - a security magazine with one of the highest circulation figures in German-speaking countries - already went on sale on January 9. The magazine is a bi-monthly publication supplementing the existing online channel, www.SearchSecurity.de. The magazine deals with strategic security issues of corporate relevance, going out to a readership of over 25,000 from all sectors of industry and business.
"It is of special importance to decision-makers in the security sector that they concern themselves with topics of strategic relevance in an intensive and sophisticated manner", is the way that Werner Nieberle, Managing Director of Vogel IT Media, sees the role of the magazine. "Our "Information Security" magazine pinpoints new threats and presents IT security strategies plus interesting products for corporate use, and gives international security experts the chance to have their say."
The new German magazine, "STORAGE", will go on sale for the first time on 6 February
Vogel IT Media's second new magazine this year is called "STORAGE" and will go on sale on 6 February 2007. The publication is aimed at data storage professionals and gives in-depth coverage of fundamental topics, strategies and the latest data storage technology, providing storage administrators, heads of IT and CIO's with vital assistance and support in their work.
Because these publications are produced in close cooperation with their American counterparts, also entitled "Information Security" and "STORAGE", they are able to pinpoint the very latest trends in the security and data storage sectors and pass these on to their German readers.
Alongside the magazines there are also two websites - www.SearchSecurity.de and www.SearchStorage.de - which, upon request, provide IT professionals with absolutely to-the-point and exhaustive information as to the most suitable products, technologies and suppliers for their company. The websites comprise up-to-the-minute news, whitepapers, webcasts, downloads and case studies, plus a comprehensive supplier and product data bank.
