Following the successful launch of the entertainment portal cynamite.de and "CYNAMITE - The free entertainment magazine", CyPress GmbH is expanding the umbrella brand CYNAMITE to include "Cynamite CAMPUS".
According to the Federal Statistical Office, over 1.9 million students were enrolled at German universities in the 2006/2007 winter semester. The target group's purchasing power of EUR 12.5 billion and its income strength after graduation speak for themselves. Purchasing habits are formed and brand preferences are established during their studies. Students are also opinion leaders, trendsetters and multipliers. The ideal target group for advertisements that are both product-oriented and designed to create brand awareness and have a long-term effect.
"Cynamite CAMPUS" is positioned as a university magazine for digital communication, lifestyle and entertainment. The magazine impresses with a target group-oriented selection of topics and an appropriate approach. The range of topics includes mobile devices such as cell phones, notebooks, smartphones, mp3 players as well as digital photography, home cinema, film, music, games and lifestyle. In addition to product presentations and technology specials, "Cynamite CAMPUS" offers an additional benefit: the latest campus news. These provide a comprehensive overview of important topics that affect students and graduates. Helpful guides, interesting studies on the university and job market, attractive internships, recruitment dates and information on postgraduate courses provide food for thought and open up new perspectives. The magazine is edited by Dr. Alexander Bidell.
The circulation of "Cynamite CAMPUS" is 200,000 copies. The magazine is distributed free of charge by Deutsche Hochschulwerbung. The magazine is displayed at universities in "Campus Info Towers" and through hand-to-hand distribution. The market launch of "Cynamite CAMPUS" will be supported by intensive poster advertising at the universities.
