Vogel Business Medien is entering the next round of innovation: with the launch of powderbulkchannel.com, they are establishing a paid content model for the first time; this is made possible by the exclusivity of the content provided. Powderbulkchannel.com addresses the entire spectrum of the topic "dry bulk solids". The exclusively English-language site also marks the further internationalization of Vogel Business Medien's publishing activities.
The new portal is the online presence of the trade journals "bulk solids handling" and "powder handling & processing", which are aimed at the global powder and bulk community. Bulk solids handling is a significant part of the value chain, accounting for up to 35 percent of total production costs in some industries.
"The online subscription gives the user unlimited access to all information, our archive includes all articles published in our trade journals "bulk solids handling" and "powder handling & processing" - since the first issue," says publisher Reiner Grochowski, describing the benefits of the online portal. This means that users from the bulk solids industry can download around 2,800 specialist articles.
Powderbulkchannel.com strengthens Vogel Transtech's portfolio as an equal pillar alongside the print business and congress activities. At the Powtech trade fair, the target group was able to see the new portal's extensive range for themselves. "Our readers were particularly impressed by the fact that all articles since 1981 are available quickly, easily and comprehensively thanks to the paid content model," says Grochowski.
As part of the launch, the Vogel Transtech team will be supported by new employees: Imke Ostermeier (26) strengthens the sales activities, Klaus-Michael Göhler (33) supports the sales of print and online advertising.
