Würzburg, April 4, 2008
The Bank Deutsches Kraftfahrzeuggewerbe AG (BDK), TÜV Nord Mobilität and Pawlik Sales Consultants AG have developed an online tool together with the industry magazine "kfz-betrieb" to help car dealerships find the right employees. The online system will be launched at the start of the AMI 2008 in Leipzig on April 4.
Employees are an important success factor for every company. However good the products on offer may be: If the right employees are missing, a large part of the success will fail to materialize. BDK, TÜV Nord Mobilität and Pawlik Sales Consultants, together with the industry magazine
"kfz-betrieb", have developed a tool for analyzing potential. It helps car dealerships to find and promote the right employees for sales and service.
The basis is a scientifically proven survey method of a particularly successful reference group in sales and service, which provides a holistic online mirror image of the respective interested parties. The process not only reveals the current status, but also enables a well-founded assessment of future development opportunities, strengths and untapped potential.
Employees can quickly and conveniently record their view of various key competencies on the website www.MeinMitarbeiter.de from any workstation via the Internet.
Dealerships and employees use this tool to find out which areas they are particularly suited to and where further development is required in order to keep up with the best in the industry. When used periodically, 'My Employee' also provides information about developments on the way to the top.
"CVs and certificates show professional qualifications. For the first time, 'My Employee' supplements this view with soft factors and ensures that employees can be deployed and promoted according to their key skills," says Dr. Hermann Frohnhaus, Spokesman of the BDK Management Board, describing the benefits of this system.
This is of particular benefit to car dealerships. They reduce the risk of hiring mistakes, can initiate targeted personnel interviews and personnel development and reduce fluctuation and the associated costs. "At TÜV NORD Mobilität, we have been using this tool for some time to recruit our test engineers," says Dirk Helmold, Member of the Management Board. "Making it available to car dealerships in an enhanced form is therefore a more than logical step to enable our partners to benefit from the advantages of the tool."
The BDK and TÜV Nord Mobilität see supporting car dealerships as part of their commitment to the industry. "We are closely linked to the automotive industry and will continue to make our contribution to the sustainable development of the automotive sector and our partners in the future."
Further information will be available at the AMI in Leipzig in Hall 1, Stand A02 at BDK or in Hall 2, Stand G32 at "kfz-betrieb"/Vogel Auto Medien at AMITEC or at tuev-nord.de in the Mobility/Car Dealerships and Workshops section.
