The 3rd benefit concert of the Würzburg printing and media companies Koenig & Bauer, Mediengruppe Main-Post, Robert Krick Verlag and Vogel Business Media will take place on Saturday, November 29 at 8 pm at the Vogel Convention Center (Würzburg). The program this time features the renowned SWR Symphony Orchestra Baden-Baden and Freiburg under the direction of Dutch conductor Ton Koopmann. Works by Joseph Haydn and Franz Schubert will be performed.
Tickets for the concert can now be ordered by calling 0931-418 2221. The price is 50,- €, for the purchase of the tickets you will receive a donation receipt.
As usual, the organizers are supporting a good cause. The proceeds from the 3rd charity concert will amount to well over 30,000 euros and will be donated in full to the Eye Clinic at the University of Würzburg. This will support the establishment of a cornea database to ensure the supply of corneal transplants to the population of Würzburg and Lower Franconia. The senior consultant and deputy director of the University Eye Clinic, Professor Geerling, is in charge of this project.
In addition to the four major Würzburg printing and media companies, the Würzburg service clubs are also involved in the benefit concert, as are Vogel Druck Arvato, Sparkasse Mainfranken Würzburg and WVV as co-sponsors.
