Augsburg, March 10, 2009
According to the market research company IDC, the storage sector will be much less affected by financial cuts in the coming years than other areas of information technology. In particular, solutions with the highest possible savings potential will be in demand. But what solutions and technologies are available in the storage and archiving sector that can realize this potential - and how do user companies use them efficiently and sensibly?
Answers to these questions will be provided by the "STORAGE & ARCHIVING 2009" specialist congress, which will provide visitors with the relevant know-how under the motto "Ways to optimize investments". Both IT dealers and IT decision-makers from user companies are expected to attend. In 2008, a total of around 1,300 participants attended the four events.
From the framework conditions for investment decisions to potential savings through standardization, from storage virtualization to deduplication - leading experts and providers show the way to cost-effective storage and archiving.
In addition to 20 breakout sessions and five independent keynotes, participants from IT user companies and solution partners can look forward to an innovation forum and new presentation technology with digital whiteboards.
The congress starts on April 21, 2009 in Hanau, followed by further dates on April 23 in Munich, May 5 in Neuss and May 7 in Hamburg.
The organizer is the IT-BUSINESS Academy.
