Frankfurt, April 9, 2009
Germany's first online business travel trade fair(www.geschaeftsreisemesse.com) is growing steadily, despite the current global financial and economic crisis. Vogel Business Media is the licensor of the online trade fair's ClickFair software, which has also proven itself in other markets. For trade fair operators, the ClickFair tool can be used in all sectors to realize virtual marketplaces in a target group-oriented, fast and uncomplicated way. The success of the online business travel trade fair proves that the concept of the online trade fair is in tune with the times and that the technical implementation works perfectly.
Since the beginning of the year, renowned service providers from the business travel and conference market have booked a virtual stand at the trade fair and are now present there with their range of services and company information. With a stand on the bilingual information platform (German/English), exhibitors can make their products and services available at any time - not just for a few days or weeks each year. And at a price that is many times lower than the cost of participating in one or more trade fairs.
New exhibitors at the start of 2009 include globally active companies such as AirPlus, a leading international provider of business travel management and credit card processing solutions, business travel agency chains such as the Hogg Robinson Group (HRG), ADP Employer Services, a software developer in the areas of payroll and travel expense management, and the leading international tourism trade fair, ITB Berlin. Other new exhibitors include the multi-award-winning premium airline Etihad Airways from the United Arab Emirates and Nuremberg Airport, which recently came first in a nationwide test by the German Institute for Service Quality.
New stands can also be seen in the hotel hall: the Maritim Hotel Stuttgart, which perfectly represents the motto of the German hotel chain Maritim "Living and meeting under one roof" with its historic Alte Reithalle, or the Hotel Nikko Düsseldorf, a modern business hotel in a central location with a large event area. Finally, event planners will be interested in the online booking platform meetingmasters.de, which supports companies in planning and holding external events in conference hotels.
On April 1, two further top-class service providers, Deutsche Bahn and the Emirates airline, decided to participate as exhibitors at the web trade fair. TraVcon AG, a provider of charter flights with private jets, and Zürich Tourism are two new providers from Switzerland. AirGroup privatejets GmbH and MARKOM, a company specializing in off-road events, are also brand new.
The trade fair is open 365 days a year for anyone interested in what the new and all other exhibitors have to offer in the Travel Management, Transport and Hotel & Conference halls - and admission is free! On the virtual marketplace, visitors can find the information they need exactly when they want it.
