BulkSolids India will take place for the first time in the Indian metropolis of Mumbai from March 2 to 3, 2010 at the Nehru Centre. The organizers of the international conference and the accompanying trade exhibition are Vogel Business Media, Würzburg, and NürnbergMesse. Nürnberg Global Fairs, the international subsidiary of NürnbergMesse, is responsible for organizing the event. Vogel Business Media is responsible for the content and organization of the conference.
The handling of raw materials is one of the most important parameters for smooth processes in countless industries. The choice of the process used depends on the properties of the bulk material to be processed. The first BulkSolids India 2010 in Mumbai is dedicated to these process technologies and places a clear focus on the transport, storage and processing of bulk solids, granulates and powdery materials in the conference program as well as in the accompanying trade exhibition. This combination results in a compact specialist event for the bulk solids industry in India. The topics of the conference (in English): Bulk Ports, Belt Conveying, Storage, Dust Emission Control, Pneumatic Conveying, Slurry Transportation, Train Loading and Unloading, Maintenance, Bulk Material Properties. Around 200 trade visitors and participants as well as around 40 exhibitors are expected to attend the first edition of the event.
A top-class program committee consisting of experts from academia and industry is currently working on the conference program under the chairmanship of Dr. V. K. Agarwal, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Interested parties can submit their proposals for presentations in the form of a one-page abstract until September 15, 2009.
