On June 30, 2009, MM Logistik, the trade magazine for logistics, will launch its own online portal for logistics decision-makers at www.mm-logistik.de. Since October 2006, the polytechnically positioned "parent title" MM Maschinenmarkt from the specialist media house Vogel Business Media has been providing online-savvy readers with plenty of added value with the business efficiency portal www.maschinenmarkt.de. Now its "logistics subsidiary" is also focusing entirely on expanding its media content.
www.mm-logistik.de is focusing on a presence that goes far beyond the usual intralogistics topics. It covers all relevant logistics topics, including telematics and logistics real estate, for example.
In future, MM Logistik will offer much more online than just (printed) information. Additional features such as a daily newsletter, whitepapers, webcasts and webinars, as well as databases and the network of the MM Logistik Xing group will expand the portal's information spectrum.
With this portal, Vogel Business Media is expanding its proven concept of Business Efficiency Portals (BEPs), of which there are now around 20. These websites, specially designed for specialist media users, offer many features that are valuable for day-to-day work. These include a semantic search and educational marketing tools such as whitepapers and webcasts.
MM Logistik is aimed at logistics decision-makers in industry, trade and the service sector. The specialist medium provides information on current developments, new technologies and industry trends in conveyor technology, storage technology, packaging technology, distribution logistics, management and IT with specialist articles, features and interviews.
