The commercial vocational school 4 in Nuremberg and the Staatliche Gewerbeschule Kraftfahrzeugtechnik G9 in Hamburg have won the award
"Best Vocational School" for the automotive trade in Germany.
The award was presented for the first time by the training magazines "autoFachmann/
autoKaufmann" together with the Zentralverband Deutsches Kraftfahrzeuggewerbe ZDK and the partners BASF with the Glysantin brand, Autoazubi and ZF Services with the Sachs brand.
At the "Auto und Ausbildung" congress in Würzburg, the jury, consisting of representatives from the training magazines and the respective award partners, awarded two first places - one for a commercial and one for a technical vocational school. The top trio included the vocational school 6 in the Hanover region in an outstanding 3rd place.
The winning schools are characterized by individual support for both weak and strong students, according to the jury. Great importance is also attached to regular further and advanced training for teachers. In Nuremberg, foreign language teaching and the professional use of the Internet also play a major role in preparing pupils for the globalized world in the best possible way. The Hamburg vocational school prepares students for their profession and life with independent and autonomous learning.
The 3rd training congress "Auto and Training - The Forum" was aimed at all those professionally involved in training in the automotive industry. After all, a company's most valuable asset is well-trained young talent, and not just in the automotive industry. This is precisely where vocational schools are a strong partner in the dual training system.
"autoFACHMANN" and "autoKAUFMANN" are the official training journals for industrial and commercial training respectively. Adapted to the official vocational training regulations, these publications offer all the knowledge to be imparted (including training and knowledge certificates) for young professionals and trainers in over 40,000 German automotive companies. The total monthly circulation is around 80,000, making "autoFACHMANN" the largest specialist training magazine in Europe. The parent company Vogel Business Media is one of the leading German providers of specialist information with around 100 specialist magazines and 60 websites as well as numerous international activities. Its headquarters are in Würzburg.
