On November 26, 2009, the Zentralverband Deutsches Kraftfahrzeuggewerbe (ZDK) celebrates its 100th anniversary in Berlin. In a special edition of over 160 pages, the trade medium and official association organ "kfz-betrieb" sheds light on the history, present and future of the association. The issue will be published on Thursday, November 12, 2009, a few days before the milestone birthday of the important national association, and will be presented at the big ZDK anniversary celebration in Berlin.



The anniversary issue combines interesting facts about the history of the automobile and the automotive industry as well as a currently rare commodity: around 120 companies from the industry are represented with print advertisements, with many taking the opportunity to place a congratulatory advertisement.



The ZDK has been looking after the interests of the 40,000 or so German car dealerships and workshops for a century. "kfz-betrieb" has been the official association organ for over 50 years. "You only get the opportunity to congratulate an association on its 100th birthday once in a lifetime. We are also lucky to be able to congratulate someone who has been active in one of the most exciting industries for 100 years," emphasizes "kfz-betrieb" editor-in-chief Wolfgang Michel: "These are just two reasons for us to put together such a multifaceted special edition as a birthday present for the automotive industry. Our anniversary issue itself provides many more reasons. It will continue to serve the automotive industry as a reference work long after the 100th anniversary celebrations."
