Originating from the Xing group "IT-Channel Marketing", the moderators Werner Nieberle, Vogel IT-Medien (Augsburg) and Alexander Woelke, Woelke von der Brueggen (Munich) presented the first "Channel Marketing Award" on November 26, 2009 as part of the "Night of IT-BUSINESS". The award honors the most creative and economically successful partner marketing campaigns in the IT industry.
There were three prizes to be won in each of the two categories "To" and "With/Through-Partner". The total of 22 entries were judged by a neutral panel of experts on the basis of a number of specialist criteria.
"As this competition took place for the first time this year, we were all the more delighted with the high number and quality of entries. The jury was pleasantly spoiled for choice and did not make it easy for itself," says Werner Nieberle, Managing Director of Vogel IT-Medien.
