If critical IT systems come to a standstill after an emergency, it can quickly cost a lot of money. If customers are also affected, companies face high liability risks. The new BSI Standard 100-4 provides companies with concrete assistance for the implementation of an emergency manual, emergency planning and emergency documentation.
The pilot seminar "Emergency planning and management according to BSI Standard 100-4" will be held for the first time by the SearchSecurity Academy of Vogel IT-Medien, Augsburg, on February 3 and 23, 2010 in Frankfurt am Main. IT documentation specialist Manuela Reiss will show how to respond systematically and efficiently to emergencies and quickly resume important business processes.
Manuela Reiss has been working as a freelance consultant and trainer in the field of IT documentation for many years. In the seminar, she will show how to use the BSI standard to set up emergency preparedness in line with requirements and how to respond to emergencies.
Peter Schmitz, Editor-in-Chief of SearchSecurity.de: "We have developed this seminar especially for our readers: IT security officers, IT managers and administrators in companies. Tailored to their needs, they will receive all the necessary measures for emergency documentation and
