Around 160 guests from the industry, associations and trade were welcomed by "kfz-betrieb" editor-in-chief Wolfgang Michel. "After the 2009 environmental bonus year, we were very excited to see what the applicant situation would be like at the start of 2010. However, the top companies also impressed with many creative sales ideas in the year of the environmental bonus," summarized Michel.
Over 230 companies took part in the cross-brand "kfz-betrieb" sales award, which was announced throughout Germany.
In the year of the environmental bonus, many dealerships increased their sales performance not only in the new car business, but also in the used car business. The average return on sales for the car dealerships presented in 2009 was 2.5 percent, with a peak of over 6 percent.
The top 10 companies in this year's "kfz-betrieb" sales awards are:
1st place: Autohaus Sessner GmbH, Kitzingen (VW, Audi)
2nd place: Overdreef GmbH, Duisburg (BMW)
