The three trade media PROCESS, PharmaTEC and Schüttgut presented the Innovation Awards for the third time at the industry trade fair "POWTECH/TechnoPharm 2010" on April 27. The most innovative equipment and processes in the chemical, pharmaceutical and process engineering industries were sought. There were seven categories. Six German and one Austrian company were able to take home the coveted award for the best new products this year.
More than 50 exhibitors at POWTECH/TechnoPharm had submitted their product developments to the three trade media PROCESS, PharmaTEC and Schüttgut in advance. The criteria for the award this year were once again the degree of innovation, quality, efficiency and cost-effectiveness for users. The newly developed components, processes and systems could not be older than twelve months and had to be available for purchase.
The expert jury selected the winners at an official awards ceremony on the first evening of the trade fair. "The high number of applications received shows impressively how innovative many process technology suppliers are, even in a difficult economic environment, and how they are securing a good market position with highly interesting further developments and innovations," emphasized editor-in-chief and publisher Gerd Kielburger in his speech.
The winners of the seven categories:
