The time has finally come! In 2010, the trainees at Vogel Business Media have once again managed to complete their city magazine "Der Würzburger" on their own - and this time with a very special anniversary edition! This is the 25th edition of "Der Würzburger", which has become an all-rounder among city magazines. And this issue will also do even more good: The proceeds will once again be donated.
The free scene magazine is produced by the VOGEL trainees themselves. It has become increasingly popular over the course of a quarter of a century, is very popular and usually sells out quickly. The anniversary is duly celebrated with captivating content, great pictures and a special competition. Soccer fans are always up to date with the unique removable World Cup fixture list. And for years, Würzburg has included a much sought-after highlight: the wine festival calendar for the region.
Since the first issue 25 years ago, the topics in the "Würzburger" have been related to the city and are intended to inform and entertain. From the very beginning, the publishing house has made it its goal to donate all advertising revenue. "Social commitment has a long tradition at Vogel Business Media, which we have been continuing with the Würzburger for 25 years now, including through our youngest colleagues," emphasized Günter Schürger, Managing Director of Vogel Business Media: "Our trainees independently select the sponsorship projects and also collect the donations themselves, so they learn the value of social responsibility and civic engagement at an early age."
Just a few weeks ago, the trainees presented the proceeds from the previous year, amounting to 16,000 euros, to two local projects. With this year's proceeds, the total amount of donations over the 25 years has now reached around 190,000 euros.
The 25th anniversary edition of the WÜRZBURGER 2010 will be published on May 6 and will then be distributed in the city and district.
