Clean driving with wind and sun - only with electricity from renewable energies can an electric car become a real zero-emission vehicle: wind energy is a booming industry, the topic is hot! This clean energy source will play a major role in the future national and international energy supply. There are already around 22,000 wind turbines in Germany, and onshore wind power is set to double to 45,000 megawatts by 2020 (!).
If administrative hurdles can be removed, technological impetus bundled and the network strengthened, then Germany can maintain and expand its strong position as one of the global market leaders. In order to strengthen the innovative power of the German wind industry, the specialist medium konstruktionspraxis is launching a congress with its special title "windkraftkonstruktion.de" together with the industry experts from Lorenz Kommunikation and Energie & Management:
"Innovation Day Wind Energy³"
July 15, 2010
at the Vogel Convention Center Würzburg
The Wind Energy Innovation Day³ presents technological approaches and research for turbine manufacturers, component suppliers, developers, energy managers and local authorities. The three federal states of Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg and Hesse are home to a high level of technical and energy policy expertise that can inspire the transfer of knowledge between northern and southern Germany.
Topics of the Wind Energy Day include
- How can suppliers and service providers participate in the rapid development of the global wind industry market?
- Is the German wind industry fit for the future? How can new technologies be applied, supply chains optimized and added value increased?
- How can decentralized energy supply based on renewable energies be set up in municipalities?
The speakers come from Bosch Rexroth, ABB, SKZ, ABO Wind, BrainNet and VDMA, among others.
Participants include development engineers from plant manufacturers and suppliers, industry experts and representatives from municipal and environmental associations and from agriculture and forestry.
