"We see this new award as further confirmation and recognition of the highly committed and outstanding professional journalistic performance of the PROCESS media brand. All colleagues in the team and the entire Vogel Business Media are delighted with the award," says Gerd Kielburger, Editorial Director and Publisher of PROCESS: "The relaunch of PROCESS, which was praised by readers and advertisers alike, certainly also contributed to the decision. While cost-cutting measures often paralyze other companies in a difficult economic environment, Vogel Business Media's relaunch proves that the publisher continues to invest in quality. This cannot be taken for granted, but it is the right approach to safeguard the future and ensure further growth."
The printed and digital submissions - 80 specialist media participated this year - were evaluated by two juries in a two-stage selection process according to these criteria, among others: Text quality, comprehensibility, stylistic devices, reader guidance, target group relevance and graphic design. The juries are made up of representatives from industry, B-to-B agencies, universities and specialist publishers.
PROCESS was honored for (from the jury's statement):
- strong and elaborate reporting
- the consistently high standard of the trade journal
- an outstanding cross-media offering and the corresponding consistent brand management
