Marcel Seyer (AS Automobile Seyer) is the best young manager in the automotive industry in 2010. kfz-betrieb" trade magazine, together with Santander Consumer Bank, presented the 30-year-old Nissan partner from Essen with the coveted, brand-independent Junior Award, which is awarded throughout Germany. Seyer impressed the jury with his drive, his ideas and his determination. After his father suddenly withdrew from the business, Seyer successfully asserted himself in his parents' company with precisely these qualities. The company is growing and appears to be setting benchmarks, particularly within the Nissan organization, is how the jury described the young entrepreneur's success.
Two Opel representatives followed in second and third place:
Stephan Kaiser (AMZ Autohaus Zeesen GmbH) came in silver. The 29-year-old managing director and co-partner is in charge of AMZ Autohaus GmbH in Zeesen, Brandenburg. His step into this position of responsibility was courageous, as the Zeesen-based Opel dealership had narrowly avoided insolvency just a short time before. Since Stephan Kaiser has been at the helm of the company, customer frequency at the dealership has increased, customer satisfaction has improved noticeably and sales and earnings have risen in all departments, the jury said, describing the young entrepreneur's courage.
The jury rewarded the commitment of Kristina Neff (Auto Neff, GmbH) with third place. The 34-year-old has been responsible for aftersales at the Neckarsulm-based family business, which sells the Opel, Chevrolet, Kia, Cadillac and Corvette brands, for two years. In this role, she has scrutinized the decision-making principles, processes and infrastructures and realigned them in this area. The entrepreneurial success of these measures convinced the jury. However, it is no coincidence: the company had already won the Service Award last year.
Numerous industry colleagues and manufacturer representatives congratulated the company at the gala evening of this year's congress of female entrepreneurs of the automotive industry in Vienna. The "kfz-betrieb" Junior Award is aimed at juniors up to the age of 35. The evaluation focuses in particular on the process and preparation of the company handover as well as the training path.
