Blechnet and MM MaschinenMarkt, two leading trade publications from Vogel Business Media, Würzburg, have once again presented the "Award for EuroBLECH 2010" innovation prize in Hanover this year. At the international technology trade fair for sheet metal working, EuroBLECH, which took place in Hanover from October 26 to 30, 2010, the most innovative products and innovations at the trade fair were honored with this award.
The award ceremony took place on the evening of the first day of the trade fair at the exhibition center. Dietmar Kuhn, Managing Editor at blechnet and MM MaschinenMarkt, praised the great innovative spirit and inventiveness shown by all companies in the sheet metal working sector at EuroBLECH.
The EuroBLECH exhibitors had the opportunity to submit their innovations in seven categories for the EuroBLECH 2010 award: Forming, Punching, Automation, Joining and Fastening, Cutting, Tools and Surface Technology. A total of nine award winners were selected from the numerous applications.
The winners in the seven categories:
- Forming: Schuler AG, Göppingen
- Punching: TRUMPF Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH + Co. KG, Ditzingen
- Automation: Otto Bihler Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG, Halblech
- Joining and fastening: Reis GmbH & Co. KG Maschinenfabrik, Obernburg
- Cutting: Techni Waterjet Pty Ltd, Campbellfield, Australia
- Tools: FIBRO GmbH, Hassmersheim, Germany
- Surface technology: Wöhler Brush Tech GmbH, Bad Wünnenberg
Plus two special prizes for the use of fiber lasers: AMADA GmbH, Haan and Bystronic Laser AG, Niederönz, Switzerland
