2nd Wind Energy Innovation Day³ in Würzburg

Call for Papers now launched

The Innovation Day Wind Energy³ is developing into the most important German industry forum for the wind energy sector in the south and southwest and will take place this year on June 7 in Würzburg. The organizer is the specialist portal windkraftkonstruktion.de, together with Lorenz Kommunikation and in cooperation with the VDMA and FVA e.V. Abstracts on the topics of research and development, production and logistics, components and materials/raw materials as well as services and support can be submitted until 18 February 2011.

Submissions should address one or more of these topics or relevant aspects and include technical, technological, standardization-related or user-related aspects.

The main aim of the Wind Energy Innovation Day³ is to promote the exchange of information on technologies and innovations from engineering to production processes, logistics issues and services through to dismantling between turbine manufacturers and operators with suppliers in the south and southwest of Germany. Companies from Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg and Hesse have the opportunity to set an example in North-South networking. They are invited to participate with presentations for the conference and exhibits for the accompanying exhibition.

windkraftkonstruktion.de is the first independent specialist information portal for designers and developers of wind turbines. As an online information platform for engineering along the value chain for manufacturers and suppliers of components and systems, the portal documents the great economic importance of the industry. The parent company Vogel Business Media is one of the leading German providers of specialist information with around 100 trade journals and 60 websites as well as numerous international activities. Its headquarters are in Würzburg. The company celebrates its 120th anniversary in 2011.
