According to IDC, the global data volume will increase to 35 zetabytes in the next ten years. 80% of this will still be managed and accessed in data centers. How can this flood be managed cleanly and sustainably? The tools are there: automated classification of unstructured data, avoidance of redundancies (deduplication) and legally compliant archiving throughout.
The specialist congress "STORAGE & ARCHIVING 2011" offers the opportunity to get answers to open questions. Independent experts will explain the most important topics in the keynotes: From adapting the storage infrastructure to the requirements in the company to data classification and unstructured data to the changes in IT and their effects on storage. The congress is organized by the IT-BUSINESS Akademie, Augsburg.
The practice-oriented breakout sessions of the event partners are based on three decision modules: The classification of data (Efficient Data Use), the location of data storage (Efficient Data Storage) and the management of stored data (Efficient Data Management).
The conference series will take place on April 5 in Hamburg, April 12 in Frankfurt/Hanau, April 14 in Düsseldorf/Neuss and May 11 in Munich.
