In this context, the 2nd Innovation Day Wind Energy3 will take place on June 7, 2011 with presentations and an accompanying exhibition at the Vogel Convention Center in Würzburg. The main aim of the Wind Energy Innovation Day3 is to promote the exchange of information on technology and innovations from engineering to production processes, logistics issues and services through to dismantling between turbine manufacturers and operators with suppliers from other parts of Germany.
For the second Innovation Day Wind Energy3, the two organizers, windkraftkonstruktion.de, the specialist information portal from Vogel Business Media and Lorenz Kommunikation, have concluded a cooperation agreement with the two VDMA trade associations Drive Technology and Power Systems as well as with the Research Association for Drive Technology (FVA).
Klaus Lorenz: "We are very pleased that we were able to win over the VDMA and the FVA for our idea of making the Innovation Day Wind Energy³ the innovation forum for the wind industry. Both associations are excellent at pooling company interests along the entire value chain." "Based on our joint synergy potential, we will turn the event into a very efficient communication and information platform for new technologies in the wind industry," adds Bernd Weinig, Publisher of windkraftkonstruktion.de
Hartmut Rauen, VDMA Drive Technology/FVA: "System solutions in the field of renewable energies offer great development potential for the drive technology sector. Especially in the wind energy sector, German companies are world market leaders and offer innovative system solutions not only in the drive train. These events offer customers, manufacturers and suppliers a unique network in the field of wind energy.
Thorsten Herdan, VDMA Power Systems: "A strong German supplier industry is the backbone for the successful further development of the wind industry made in Germany. Particularly in the rapidly growing offshore wind market, mechanical engineering suppliers will play a decisive role in the future competitiveness of the industry."
The organizers are expecting more than 250 visitors and up to 50 exhibitors.
