Vogel Business Media stands for the competent communication of specialist knowledge. A commodity that is becoming increasingly important and - in times of information overload - needs to be better organized.
The term knowledge management has been around since the 1980s, but there is still no generally recognized definition. After clarifying the term, the lecture will therefore show the effects of the transition from an industrial to a knowledge society and how these are reinforced by social trends such as demographic change, globalization, mobility and changing values. Specific examples will be used to show what measures are already being taken at individual (personal knowledge management), organizational (organizational knowledge management), regional (regional knowledge management) and national level (national knowledge management).
Each participant will receive a free, personal wiki with instructions on how to set up their own knowledge management system.
The speaker is Simon Dückert from Cogneon. He has been working in knowledge management for over 10 years. He is also an active member of the advisory board of the non-profit organization Gesellschaft für Wissensmanagement e.V. and a member of the New Club of Paris.
