Vogel IT-Medien GmbH has another success to report. Shortly after the 20th anniversary edition of IT-BUSINESS, the flagship publication of the Augsburg-based IT specialist publisher, the still young online information platform SearchSoftware.de can also look back on a successful first year.
SearchSoftware.de is already the fifth website published by Vogel IT-Medien together with the US publisher TechTarget. The specialist portal provides decision-makers in companies with interesting information from the field of business applications, including current trends from the ERP and CRM environment. It also focuses on business intelligence, data management and the new cloud services.
"SearchSoftware.de is our fifth IT infrastructure portal and complements the four existing online information portals SearchSecurity.de, SearchNetworking.de, SearchStorage.de and SearchDataCenter.de. By focusing on the individual portals, we can provide our readers with the information they really need," explains Florian Karlstetter, Editor-in-Chief of SearchSoftware.de: "In addition to specialist articles and news, there are around 50 interviews, 60 practical tests and over 200 white papers and webcasts."
Print and academy
SearchSoftware also supplements its knowledge formats with print products and live events. In June 2011, a print compendium will be published on the subject of "A firm grip on customer relationships - requirements for modern CRM systems". The new "SearchSoftware Academy" will be launched in mid-May 2011 with an intensive seminar on "SharePoint 2010 in practice". As part of a one-day event in Düsseldorf on May 10 and Munich on May 12, IT managers will receive concepts for the secure migration and administration of the new collaboration platform from Microsoft.
