The security, stability and availability of IT services and networks are essential for companies to be able to map their business processes securely. Established trust in IT services creates the necessary acceptance among customers and employees. Security checks and penetration tests offer a helpful tool for checking the security of IT services and networks. Security gaps and sources of danger can be discovered in good time and quickly rectified.
With the help of the Metasploit Framework, IT and security managers in companies can carry out penetration tests in their network themselves and effectively eliminate vulnerabilities. The Metasploit project is a free, open-source computer security project that provides information on security vulnerabilities and can be used for penetration tests. The best-known sub-project is the Metasploit Framework - a tool for developing and executing exploits against distributed target computers.
Together with the SearchSecurity Academy, Michael Messner, IT security consultant, will show how pentesting can be used to test and secure the security of networks against external attacks in the practical seminar "Penetration testing - uncovering and eliminating security gaps and sources of danger in networks". He will use live demos to show the use of Metasploit and its useful extensions.
The seminar will take place on 12.7. in Munich.
