Open government, open data, Web 2.0 applications and social networks such as Facebook and Twitter open up a multitude of new opportunities and possibilities. But how can these be best utilized in the context of public administration eGovernment initiatives?
The Bavarian CIO Franz Josef Pschierer therefore invites you to find out about ideas for using new media and implementing open data and open government at the "Netzdialog Bayern 2011" on July 18 at the Bavarian State Parliament.
"I am hoping for a lively exchange of opinions between the experts at the network dialog on the new forms of communication and cooperation in global digital networks as well as numerous suggestions for the further expansion of open government and open data offerings in Bavaria. It is important to me that the great potential of the networks as well as their dangers are highlighted," said Pschierer.
