The first two Zellerau artists' bazaars in 2009 and 2010 showed just how much artistic potential there is in the Zellerau district of Würzburg. Over 350 visitors came to the Vogel Convention Center (VCC) and viewed the vernissages of over 30 artists as part of the Zellerau Culture Days.
An artists' bazaar will be held again this year. Once again, artists from the district have been invited to take part in the one-day exhibition at the Vogel Convention Center. "I am delighted that the artists' bazaar has become an integral part of our Culture Days. It's a great addition to our program and definitely worth a Sunday stroll for the people of Zellerau!" says Oskar Vogel from the Zellerau Culture Days organizing team: "We will once again be amazed at the creativity and artists that Zellerau has to offer."
Numerous artists, who all live and/or work in this traditional Zellerau district, will have the opportunity to present themselves and their works of art as part of the established Zellerau Culture Days.
Date: Sunday, October 9, 2011 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Official opening: by representatives of the city and Zellerau at 12:00 noon
Participation for the artists is free of charge. Visiting the artists' bazaar is also free of charge.
There will be drinks, coffee and cake. The proceeds from the sale will go to the Heilig-Geist kindergarten in Zellerau.
The event is organized by the Zellerauer Kulturtage together with the large Würzburg-based specialist media company Vogel Business Media, which supports the event as a sponsor.
