The IT industry celebrated the "Night of IT-BUSINESS" for the fifth time. As part of the event, the "IT-BUSINESS Distri-Award" was presented to distributors in ten categories in front of 250 guests at the exclusive Sofitel Munich Bayerpost hotel in Munich on November 24, 2011.



With the "Distri-Award 2011/2012", the renowned trade magazine IT-BUSINESS honored the best distributors in Germany. The winners were selected by IT-BUSINESS readers in a comprehensive online survey conducted in collaboration with IDC between July and October 2011.



Distributors were rated in the categories of broadliner/full-line distributor, specialty distribution and value-added distribution. Participants also voted on who offers the best product range and the best services in the areas of servers & storage, virtualization & cloud computing, security & networks, components & peripherals, software & applications, unified & mobile communications and PCs & notebooks.
