Medical technology is booming and offers many development opportunities for the metalworking industry - but manufacturers have to deal intensively with this trending topic. For this reason, the two trade media MM Maschinenmarkt and DeviceMed are going on tour for the first time this year with the roadshow "Medical technology for metalworking companies - from A for equipment to Z for certification". Various cooperation partners from the industry will be taking part.
The dates of the roadshow:
12.06. at Siemens in Erlangen
19.06. at Gildemeister Drehmaschinen in Bielefeld
26.06. at AgieCharmilles in Schondorf
The core of the roadshow consists of presentations by experienced speakers on the value chain of machining medical implants and instruments. The experts will show how medical technology products can be machined efficiently, precisely and traceably. In addition to CAD/CAM and CNC control, the topics presented include machine tools and cutting tools as well as clamping, measuring and setting technology and cooling lubricants. Practical live demonstrations on the machines are a particular highlight. The roadshow is aimed at (technical) managing directors, engineers, manufacturing and production managers as well as interested parties from the metalworking industry and is also intended to provide a platform for technical talks, discussions and the exchange of experiences with other participants.
