Carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP) are not only playing an increasingly important role in the aviation industry. The automotive industry has also discovered the new materials for itself and is trying to establish them in series production. The "Carbon Composites" conference, which will take place on November 22 at the Augsburg Congress Center, will focus on this trend topic. The event is being organized by the specialist medium "MM Maschinenmarkt" from Vogel Business Media in cooperation with the Carbon Composites e.V. competence network.
The "Carbon Composites 2012 Conference" will discuss the opportunities and challenges of the new materials and show how industrial process chains for CFRP components can be implemented. The focus will be on presentations by experienced speakers covering the entire process chain in the manufacture and processing of carbon fiber-reinforced plastics. Experts from science and industry will present the individual processes for the design and manufacture of CFRP series parts in detail: from component engineering to shaping, processing and testing, right through to assembly, including automation. The symposium is aimed at production planners, production managers, quality managers, design managers, managing directors and commercial decision-makers. The topics are just as interesting for the automotive and aviation industries as they are for suppliers of equipment and raw materials as well as for manufacturers and suppliers of CFRP components. Universities, institutes and newcomers who want to respond to the growing market will be informed about the latest developments.
The symposium will take place on
