The participants were the jury: Following this year's "Technology Solution Days" on the topics of "Storage & Data Management" and "Virtualization & Cloud Computing" as well as the "Storage Solutions Day Specialist Congress - Swiss 2012" of the IT-Business Academy / Vogel IT-Akademie Swiss, visitors critically evaluated the individual speakers using a digital questionnaire. On August 7, the time had come: The best speakers of the three event series were invited to the Vogel IT-Medien publishing house in Augsburg to receive their awards.
At the "Storage & Datamanagement Technology Solution Days", Stefan von Dreusche (Datacore), Paul Bathe (EMC²) and Jörg Karpinski (PSP GmbH) were delighted to receive the "Best Speaker" award. Christian Herter (Bull GmbH) was honored in the "Best Presentation" category for his outstanding presentation, while Dell won the "Best Workshop" category. Günter Maier (MentIQ) also took home a certificate for the "Best Roundtable".
Among the lucky winners of the "Virtualization & Cloud Computing Technology Solution Days" this year were Thorsten Hesse (Cortado AG) and Thomas Pracht (T-Systems), who received the "Best Speaker" award. The awards in the "Best Presentation" category went to Sebastian Schröder (IGEL Technology) and Amit Chatterjee (Samsung). In the two new categories, Andreas Hausmann (Hewlett-Packard) was awarded for the best workshop and Bernhard Dreibus received a certificate for the best roundtable.
The best speakers at the "Storage Solution Day Fachkongress - Swiss 2012" were David Ohlig (Syncsort) and Christoph Schnidrig (NetApp). The Swiss audience also rewarded Thomas Romer (Fujitsu) with the "Best Value" award and Moritz Höfer with the "Best Workshop" award.
At the "IT Security Management & Technology Conference", which takes place in September / October, interested specialist dealers and IT decision-makers from user companies will once again have the opportunity to cast their vote and reward the speakers' achievements.
