Car trade via Google, Facebook & Co.

Industry forum highlights opportunities and challenges of automotive retail 2.0

Web 2.0 and social media are an integral part of the lives and experiences of many users and are becoming increasingly important success factors for the automotive trade. But to what extent is Web 2.0 actually influencing the future of the car trade? How do you win over the customer 2.0? And is social media really the panacea? Answers to these and other questions will be provided by the Automotive Trade 2.0 Forum "The mobile.de wake-up call" on November 14, 2012 at the Vogel Convention Center in Würzburg.

The specialist forum is organized by the two trade media "kfz-betrieb" and "Gebrauchtwagen Praxis" together with the online marketplace Mobile.de. In keynote speeches and practical workshops, industry experts and marketing professionals will report on the opportunities and challenges facing the automotive trade in the age of Google, Facebook and co. A special highlight is the keynote speech "Idea beats budget - what car dealers can achieve with the use of new media" by Dominic Multerer (Multerer Consulting). At the age of 16, Multerer was named Germany's probably youngest head of marketing by Handelsblatt. His thesis: differentiation is the be-all and end-all. Brands must consciously break the rules in order to be different.

The industry forum is aimed at those responsible in the automotive trade, from owners and managing directors to salespeople and those responsible for used cars and online, and offers a wide range of opportunities for networking and exchanging ideas and experiences in addition to practical presentations and workshops. On the evening before the forum, participants will also have the opportunity to make their first contacts at an exclusive cooking class at the Lammbock restaurant in Würzburg.

The Forum Automobilhandel 2.0 "The mobile.de wake-up call" will take place on:

November 14, 2012 at the Vogel Convention Center, Würzburg
