Elke Müller is Automobile Dealer of the Year. The trade magazine "kfz-betrieb" presented the 44-year-old Managing Director of the Automobile Müller car dealership group in Leipzig with the Women's Award 2012 at the weekend together with Shell Deutschland Schmierstoff and partners Santander Consumer Bank and Christoph Kroschke GmbH. The prize was awarded at the 22nd Congress of Women Entrepreneurs of the Automotive Industry in Hamburg.
"The jury does not primarily evaluate quantitative performance, but above all the qualitative values, the special human and economic conditions," emphasized "kfz-betrieb" editor-in-chief Wolfgang Michel at the festive evening event in the Penthouse Elb-Panorama.
Together with her father Rolf and her brother Frank, Elke Müller has managed the seven BMW, Seat and Skoda dealerships in Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt for more than 20 years. The entrepreneur is responsible for sales, marketing and personnel. With great commitment and creativity, Elke Müller successfully asserts herself against the strong competition in Leipzig. Together with the management, she pursues a consistent growth strategy and pays particular attention to continuous personnel development. Manfred Bussmann, Head of Sales Directorate Germany East at BMW AG, is delighted with the successful entrepreneur: "Elke Müller is driving her car dealerships forward at all locations with her strong entrepreneurial spirit. That's why she can accept this award with pride."
Second place went to Sabine Anslinger, Managing Director of Autohaus Albert Zotz in Landau, which represents the VW Passenger Cars, VW Commercial Vehicles and Audi brands as well as offering Skoda Service. The 47-year-old describes herself as a "passionate saleswoman" for whom it is important to work in a well-coordinated team. Klaus Schäfer, Head of Trade Organization VW Rhine-Main Region, congratulated Sabine Anslinger: "She has created structures and a motivated team at Autohaus Zotz. The family business is the benchmark when it comes to customer satisfaction."
Third place went to Mirjam Fischer-Quaiser, Managing Director of the VW dealership Fischer-Schädler in Bad Vilbel. Marketing is the hobbyhorse of this strong communicator from Hesse, who cultivates the image of the dealership with a series of events and customer loyalty campaigns. Klaus Schäfer was delighted for Mirjam Fischer-Quaiser: "This award is the crowning glory of her career."
