Hosters and service providers provide the infrastructures for public and private IT services and are therefore at the center of the new megatrend in the IT industry: cloud computing.



In order to provide a platform for the exchange of know-how and experience in this important phase of the market, the Hosting & Service Provider Summit will be relaunched on May 2 and 3, 2013, following its successful premiere last year. The summit offers the opportunity to find out about the latest trends and possible applications and to exchange ideas with colleagues and experts.



The summit will focus on business models and instruments relating to the dynamic, secure and multi-client-capable provision of platforms and applications as a cloud service ("X as a Service"). The event is aimed at the management level of hosting and service provider companies, data center operators, telcos and co-locators as well as internal service providers of large companies. Companies that want to add "service providing" to their business model are also invited.



High-caliber presentations, case studies and discussions will provide participants with in-depth information on current trends and technologies. One highlight is the presentation of the Hosting & Service Provider Award. The award recognizes innovative and successful hosting and service offerings in the categories Infrastructure Services, Application Services and Domain Services.
